It is safe to say that Xbox has been busy releasing great updates and features for the console this month. The company previously tested a new system of Xbox Game Pass, tweaking their online DRM system, among other things, and has been on a roll. It seems, the company also planned on revealing a new Xbox controller as per new leaks.

First spotted by the website Tech4Gamers, the Canadian videogame chain store Microplay launched a pre-order page for an unannounced Xbox controller. While as of writing this piece, the retailer pulled down the pre-order page, we managed to grab a picture of the supposed controller (thanks to VGC and Twitter account @ALumia_Italia).

Microsoft named the controller Mineral Camo, as per the leaks. The company planned to seemingly launch it today, September 27, 2022. The listing also had the pricing, with a suggested price of $79.99. Since Microplay took down the product page quickly, we can assume that the listing was an error on their part. Furthermore, we can expect an official announcement later today.
The Mineral Camo controller has an overall camo design in three shades of blue. The colour scheme is currently leaked for the Xbox Series X controller and not for the elite model. Earlier last week, the company also launched the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2.
So fans of Xbox controllers who love to collect the different variants of the controllers can look forward to adding a new one to their collection. In other Xbox-related news, some Xbox insiders are currently testing a new Xbox UI, which plans to simplify navigation on the dashboard.
