Toby Fox’s Undertale made strides across the gaming communities when it was first released. Winning multiple awards, and reaching critical acclaim, many love the indie RPG for its gameplay, character and soundtrack.

Naturally, when Toby Fox released Deltarune, a spin-off RPG set in Undertale, people got excited. However, unlike Undertale, Deltarune’s released in chapters. While the prologue, first and second chapters are already out, it seems the next chapters for Deltarune will take a while.
Fox took over his Twitter account, confirming that they won’t be able to put out any chapters in 2022.
We won't be able to put out any new chapters of DELTARUNE this year… But as usual, we have a little something specil planned for the anniversary of UT/DR Ch2… See you next week!

“We won’t be able to put out any new chapters of DELTARUNE this year,” Fox said. “But as usual, we have a little something special planned for the anniversary of UT/DR Ch2.” No one knows what this “special thing” is going to be.
Toby Fox’s confirmation comes as no shock. He has previously confirmed that Deltarune will receive three paid chapters, making the game a five-chapter series. He also plans on releasing the rest of the three chapters simultaneously.
In a previous update, he said that his next goal is “to complete Chapters 3, 4 and 5 for next time. Then, at that time I will ask for people to buy the game, at the price of the first 5 chapters (including 1 and 2). I don’t know the price yet, but it’s definitely going to cost more than Undertale.”
