A whistleblower known for leaking information about Persona 6 has recently provided an update on the rumored JRPG’s development. Additionally, they have shared insights into Atlus’ current priorities regarding their games. Persona 6 has been a subject of speculation for quite some time, but solid evidence of its existence has been scarce. However, a trustworthy leaker who has been actively engaging with fans recently has proven to be accurate in their previous statements, particularly regarding Atlus’ ongoing projects.
Twitter user MbKKssTBhz5, also known as Midori, has gained a reputation for accurately sharing information about Atlus games in the past. She has successfully predicted the existence of a Persona 3 remake and a Persona 5 tactical RPG spin-off before their official announcements. With apparent connections to Atlus, Midori has continued to provide updates about Persona 6 and shed light on the current projects in development at the game studio.
Based on the updates shared by Midori, it appears that Atlus has no plans for another large-scale remake similar to the upcoming Persona 3 Reload, set to release in 2024. However, there are four Persona games currently in development, with the main focus being on the highly anticipated Persona 6. Alongside Persona 6, Atlus is also working on Persona 5: The Phantom X, a game that was announced earlier this year. Additionally, another project called Persona Asa is also in the works.
Atlus is not working on any other remake like P3RE right now, so you won’t see questions about it in survey.

According to Midori’s leaks, Persona Asa is rumored to be an exciting crossover game that brings together characters from all five numbered Persona games. It is anticipated to have a release window in the third quarter of 2024. Additionally, Midori’s information suggests that Atlus had been working on a Persona fighting game for a considerable period of time. However, the development of this fighting game has reportedly been in flux, with the partner studio being occupied with other commitments, leading to the project being in and out of development.
