Playtonic Friends is all set to publish another great title on Steam in the upcoming weeks. After helping to publish indie hits such as BPM: Bullets Per Minute, Demon Turf and more, Playtonic Friends gear up to launch Lil Gator Game (via VGC).
Lil Gator Game is a platformer by indie developer Megawobble. As per the official description, players will join Lil Gator on a journey to discover new friends and discover things the island has to offer. The game also offers customization and promises wholesome, fun gameplay. Lil Gator Game will be the fifth title published under the label. The title will launch for $19.99/ £16.75 on 14th December 2022. There will also be a pre-order discount.

The publisher is one of the cogs of the UK-based developer Playtonic Games which was formed in 2014 by ex-Rare staff. Earlier, Playtonic Games launched Yooka-Laylee and Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair. In February 2021, the developers announced they forming a publishing label. After the announcement, studio head Gavin Price talked about it with VGC.
“We’re trying to create these friendships that last a long time where we’re still in close contact and helping people long into the future,” Price said.
“It would be great for us to not only help developers by publishing their current game but help them as a business over and over again.”
