Those in Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan may now breathe a sigh of relief since it was just revealed that Steam Deck shipments will begin in those countries this month. Although Valve has had a mixed track record with technology initiatives, the Deck is gaining traction in the PC gaming community because of its ability to run a wide variety of titles, its adaptability, and its modability. Since its release earlier this year, the compact device has shown to be rather successful in the West.

Steam Deck

The Steam Deck persists to get titles validated for it, such as the revamped Spider-Man, Miles Morales, as well as Elden Ring, and enthusiasts have praised the gadget from its inception. It seems reasonable that so many games would be compatible with it, given entertainment is the platform’s raison d’être, despite its ability to do other tasks as well. Given its success, it’s no surprise that other countries want to get their hands on it, and residents of several Asian nations would be able to do so shortly.

According to The Latest Tweet

According to the latest tweet on Steam Deck’s official Twitter page, the business is preparing to send the gadget to Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan, with the inaugural batch shipping on December 17. Everybody who pre-ordered will get a mail inviting them to complete the purchase starting December 1. Those considering to purchasing the Valve machine in the countries listed may do so via the Komodo site, which is the authorized dealer of the gadget in these countries. In addition, users may acquire the authorized docking station.

We're happy to announce that Steam Decks will start shipping in Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan on December 17th via Komodo, our official Steam Deck distributor in these regions.

Valve has stated that it wants to make the Steam Deck accessible in additional nations by the conclusion of 2022, and it seems that the corporation is on the right road to delivering that goal. Given that delivery won’t start till the middle of December, it’s completely feasible that many individuals will not be able to get their gadget until after Thanksgiving, so anybody hoping to buy one in time for the festivities may have to wait a bit longer.
