Minecraft is arguably one of the biggest videogames to exist. The reason for its success is Mojang, the game’s developers. On top of this, the developers actively listen to their community, adding new content.
Over the months, naturally, with the game allowing players to tweak the world to their liking, people who are into NFT will involve in the title. For the uninitiated, NFT or Non-Fungible Token are unique digital tokens that are part of a blockchain, often purchased and exchanged through bitcoins.

Over time, projects like NFT Worlds and skins have incorporated the technology into the game. Furthermore, people in NFT have naturally gravitated towards the game for its allowance of modifying it.
It looks like Mojang is stepping in to halt these projects. Through an official post on its website and Twitter, Minecraft made its stance on the technology.

As per the policy, Minecraft allows server owners to charge for access. Unfortunately, as per the company, NFTs can create “models of scarcity and exclusion”, conflicting with the guidelines.
They further clarified that the technology is not permitted to be integrated inside the client and server applications and cannot be used to create NFTs using in-game content.
It is advisable to head over to the official post by the company to read about the policy in detail. For now, it is safe to say that the game isn’t allowing for anything NFTs.
