Much like most Ubisoft games getting leaked before their reveal, Assassin’s Creed Mirage also followed a similar fate. The next entry in the long-running Assassin’s Creed Series plans on showcasing the title in the upcoming Ubisoft Forward event.

However, it seems details regarding the title seeped out of the cracks earlier than expected. According to j0nathan, who is a prominent leaker, we get more information regarding the upcoming title.
The leaker says that the new title this time around will feature only one city, which is Baghdad. The recent Assassin’s Creed games featured self-contained bigger maps and areas which were disjointed from each other. This time around, the one single map will get divided into four seperate areas.
Additional Assassins Creed Mirage information has been shared by j0nathan (YouTube).

All the individual districts will have their boss. Over the last couple of games, Ubisoft has been following this method, starting with Far Cry 5. Furthermore, apart from the title going “back to basics,” the game will see a return of throwing knives, hiding spots on rooftops and a dense amount of NPCs similar to Assassin’s Creed Unity.
The developers are trying to recreate the crowd density similar to 2014’s game, which took place during the French revolution and featured massive amounts of NPC on screen at a time.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will star Basim, the character seen in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Per a report, the title was planned as an expansion for Valhalla before turning into a standalone game.
As per another report, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will release in spring 2023, which is in line with the financial call details they shared last month. Only time will tell how many of these leaks are true, as Ubisoft Forward is gearing for its 10th September showcase, focusing on multiple Ubisoft titles, including Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
