Battlefield 2042 by DICE and EA has had a rough time ever since its release. Many blame the developers for failing to try what they wanted to and releasing an inferior title.
Others also showed frustration because of minimal communication by the team to the player base. Fortunately, things are slowly changing, with DICE working diligently to make the game playable and fun.

Similarly, a new update for Battlefield 2042 dropped, introducing fixes and content for the game.
The biggest addition to Battlefield 2042 through this update is a rework of the Renewal map. The new and reworked Renewal map plans to bring an improved gameplay flow, cover options, terrain improvements and shorter flag distances. The update also welcomes the Polaris RZR vehicle. Polaris is a lightweight and speedy two-person buggy.
Three new vault weapons are also introduced through the update. These weapons were previously accessible in the Battlefield portal. With this update, they are now usable in All-Out Warfare once unlocked in Battlefield 2042. The weapons are
- P90
- GOL Sniper Magnum
- M1911
Furthermore, the new update brings in fixes and improvements, such as reducing instances of mouse input latency and balance tuning for Attack and Transport Helicopters and Nightbird.
