Xbox has officially announced that Kojima Production’s Death Stranding is launching on August 23 for PC Game Pass. The Game Pass version of the game is not the Directors Cut Edition, however, it still includes ultrawide monitor support, photo mode, high frame rate and more. Not only that, but this version of Death Stranding will also include Xbox Achievements.

A statement released by 505 Games read, “The original version of Hideo Kojima’s critically acclaimed and genre-defying epic lands on the Microsoft ecosystem for the first time, available to audiences who are subscribed to the PC version of Xbox Game Pass”.
While the Game Pass edition of Death Stranding might not be the Director’s Cut, this specific edition of the game will also include the following items. These are unlockable that will be available in-game as one progresses through the main story:
• Chiral Gold / Omnireflector “Ludens Mask” Sunglasses (Color Variant)
• Gold and Silver Power Skeleton
• Gold and Silver All-Terrain Skeleton
• Gold and Silver Armor Plate
Launched in 2019 as a PlayStation 4 exclusive, Death Stranding is an action game developed by Kojima Productions. The game stars Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, Lindsay Wagner, and many others. It is the first game from director Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions after their split from Konami in 2015.
