Dishonored 2 is now a free-to-claim if you are an Amazon Prime Gaming subscriber. The platform is popularly known for giving away games and in-game items for free to its subscribers.
Arkane Studios’ supernatural assassin series is one of the fan favorites for its unique take on the FPS stealth genre. The game has a gritty steampunk vibe and is fun to play with a lot of gore and action. This Amazon Prime deal is said to unlock the game for PC players who have an existing GOG account and Prime subscription.
How to claim Dishonored 2 from Amazon Prime Gaming
- Users must have a GOG (Good Old Games) account to claim the offer, so an account creation is mandatory. This is because the game will be activated on GOG and players will be able to access the game from their library.
- The account creation is free of charge and all users have to do is head over to GOG’s official website and create an account. Once the account creation is done, go back to Amazon Prime Gaming website and look for Dishonored 2 under the “Games” section.
- Finding the game on their homepage click on the tab and open the claiming page. Click on the “Claim” button and the website will give an activation code. Copy the code and go to GOG’s PC app.
- Find the redeem game box in the GOG app and paste the code that was copied in the last instruction. Once the game is claimed Dishonored 2 will be added to the library. Users can access the game at any point of time and enjoy the game.
To play the game users have to install the game from the GOG app, which is fairly simple to do. Non-subscribers can also make a trial account for Prime Gaming to get Dishonored 2. However, charges will apply next month onwards, so that should be kept in mind.
