Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games’ asynchronous multiplayer game Evil Dead: The Game has enjoyed moderate success post-release. Based on the cult-classic movie franchise of the same name, fans and newcomers have enjoyed the janky yet fun-offering.
To keep the gameplay fresh for everyone, the developers introduced the first major content update for the game. Called Army of Darkness, the new update takes inspiration from the hit movie of the same name.

The new update adds a new map. The Army of Darkness map contains numerous locations, such as Castle Kandar, the Arthurian Outpost, and more. Fans of the movies will recognize the multiple locations on the new map, painstakingly recreated.
Alongside the new map, the game adds two new weapons: the Mace, a slow yet powerful close-range weapon and the Explosive Crossbow, which is slow to reload but packs quite a blast.
Furthermore, the game adds a new Exploration mode, which lets players explore all the maps. The new game mode allows players to familiarize themselves with the map layouts for strategy. Players can also purchase two new outfits for Ash Williams: his S-Mart Employee Outfit and the Gallant Knight Outfit from the movie.
Evil Dead: The Game is available to play on PC via Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Check out the trailer down below.
