Triternion’s PvP medieval combat game Mordhau took the PC gaming world by the storm when it launched in 2019. Over the years, the game nurtured a dedicated player base of bards playing unique tunes and combatants going at each other.
While the playing populace might’ve dwindled over the years, it still retained a dedicated amount of players. However, one cannot deny the success of the title, because of which the game is heading to consoles.

Later this year, PlayStation and Xbox players will get to experience the 64-player brutal mayhem, cutting each other’s limbs in the process. Players will enter a battlefield where they can fight hand-to-hand using free-form melee and ranged attacks. Whether wielding a greatsword, raining arrows from above, or even sitting back to build fortifications, nowhere on the battlefield is safe.
Console players can fully customize their character through sculpting, right down to set their tone and choice of weapons and armours. Furthermore, the console version will also feature the ‘Invasion’, ‘Frontline’, ‘Horde’, ‘Deathmatch’, ‘Team Deathmatch’ and ‘Skirmish’. The developers have confirmed that cross-play will only be allowed between the consoles and not PC.
Mordhau for the console has no set release date yet. However, we do have a new trailer for it. The game will launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Mordhau is available to play on PC via Steam.
