Warzone 2, the sequel to Call of Duty’s battle-royale Warzone will inevitably launch soon. While Activision gears up to launch the sequel to 2019’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare, the developers are very tightlipped about Warzone 2. We don’t even know when the game will launch.
As curiosity grows, it seems the launch date leaked out of the cracks ahead of its intended reveal. First posted on the r/classicwow subreddit, a document got leaked. The said document lists the release schedule for games by Activision Blizzard for the remainder of the year. The said list also contained the release date for the upcoming title.

As per the document, the game will launch on November 16. The dates coincide with PlayStation’s God of War: Ragnarok, one of the most anticipated games of this year.
Other important takeaways from the document include a listing for Modern Warfare 2 as “Cortez”, the game’s internal codename. That game is gearing up for its launch on October 27. The document also supposedly reveals the pre-purchase date for Diablo 4, scheduled for December 8. This date coincides with this year’s The Game Awards.
Earlier in April 2022, Activision confirmed a new Warzone experience. Built from the ground up, Warzone 2 will feature a new sandbox mode and new playspace. Warzone 2.0 will be playable on PC via Battle.net and Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
