Their arrest took place in December of the previous year, following multiple allegations of sexual crimes against numerous women. Both brothers firmly deny the accusations brought against them.
Andrew Tate Arrested on Rape and Human Trafficking Charges
Andrew, aged 36, and Tristan Tate, aged 34, have been accused of engaging in manipulative tactics to exploit women, coercing them into pornography and distributing the content on various social media platforms. Andrew is facing additional charges of rape, while Tristan has been charged with inciting violence.
Furthermore, the brothers, along with their associates, are accused of establishing a criminal organization in 2021, with the primary purpose of engaging in human trafficking across multiple countries including the UK, USA, and Romania. Following their arrest in December 2022, the group was placed under house arrest in March based on a decision made by a judge in Romania.
Both Andrew And Tristen Tate are scheduled to make an appearance before the Bucharest Court on Wednesday at 11 am local time. During this hearing, the judge will determine the trial date and make a decision regarding their house arrest status. In accordance with Romanian law, the trial will commence after a period of 60 days, as the case will be initially referred to a preliminary chamber. During this phase, the judge will thoroughly review the case files.
