Arc System Works developed fighting game DNF Duel, based on Dungeon Fighter Online by Nexon, has gained infamy among fighting game fans. Many categorize the title as a “kusoge” fighter because of how crazy the games can go and some questionable balancing among the characters.
Naturally, fans wanted balancing for the game, and over time, players have moved to other games, citing unbalanced gameplay. Fortunately, Nexon listened to the criticism and reports.

The company launched a video, with director Ryosuke Kodani taking the spotlight. The video begins with Kodani-san apologizing for the bug affecting the title. He said that the developers will launch a patch to fix the problem by the end of September. The patch will also include a fix for freezing screens during online matching and the input issues in the Steam version.
Later in December, another update will provide balance tweaks, with developers focusing on leaning towards buffing every character. They will share more details regarding that at a later date.
Finally, Arc System Works is also working on something which is not a balance patch. Unfortunately, due to reasons, this will take some time. However, the developers are confident that players will love what they have been making.
