Hideo Kojima is widely considered an industry icon, and rightfully so. The Japanese game director, writer and designer is well known for his works in the Metal Gear Solid titles and Death Stranding. The other thing Kojima is well known for is the unique gameplay features in his titles.
Hideo Kojima is also pretty open about his love for music and movies, so much so that he’d share pretty enthusiastically about them on his socials. It comes as no surprise when he shows his interest in creating movies and music.

At Anan Awards in Japan (via Famitsu), Hideo Kojima received the highest honours in the culture category for his works in Death Stranding. During the speech, Kojima says that while he has made game his whole life, he’d like to expand to films and music.
“All fields are connected in digital works, so I would like to expand from games to fields such as film and music,” said Kojima.
This is one of the few times when Hideo Kojima spoke so publicly about his desire to create music and movies. Kojima has always collaborated with music artists such as Low Roar, Chvrches and Bring Me The Horizon, among others.
Earlier, Kojima confirmed that Ellie Fanning and Shiori Kutsuna will star in an as-yet-unannounced project. On the other hand, footage from Overdose, one of the titles Kojima Production is working on, got leaked.
