Need For Speed by EA is a well cherished and legacy franchise. The arcade racing series has spawned numerous sequels over the years. Unfortunately, the games have gone through some good and bad changes.

With the recent entries also being underwhelming, the love for the series among the general public has gone down, unfortunately. However, fans of the racing title still wish for another title in the series. It seems EA wants the same.
Earlier last night, one Twitter tagged the official EA and Need For Speed account, asking if there is be a reveal this week. The official account, which has stayed dormant since 2021, replied with an eye emoji.

Later, the F1 developer Codemasters also commented in the thread, acting as if they’d accidentally leaked the news.

On top of this, the official EA account also posted a tweet, which is pretty straightforward and linked below.
you think they're ready, @needforspeed?

All these tweets confirm that a new Need For Speed is in development. Whether the reveal will happen this week or not is yet to be seen. The official Twitter account also changed its profile picture and header picture on Twitter.
Earlier last week, known industry insider Tom Henderson confirmed a new Need For Speed’s existence and that the game can release by December. Called Need For Speed Unbound, the title will release by December 2nd.
Furthermore, with Codemaster commenting on the original thread, it seems the developer is assisting in creating the title. Hopefully, we will receive an official reveal of the title very soon. For now, Need For Speed: Heat is on sale on both Steam and Origin for a ridiculously low price.
