Back in 2007, Ukrainian developer Frogwares, the developers of Sherlock Holmes titles and The Sinking City released Sherlock Holmes The Awakened for PC. The game, set in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s detective world, put the titular characters against eldritch beings from Lovecraftian mythos. Post-release it went down well, receiving love and appreciation.

Sherlock Holmes The Awakened is a complete remake from the ground up. The story is also re-written to fit the continuation of Frogwares’ young Sherlock stories, following both him and Watson through their first big case.
The game will also incorporate new voiceovers, UI overhauls, additional QoL changes and side quests. Furthermore, the team will launch a Kickstarter to secure the final parts of production, with the trailer going live soon. As per a press release, Frogwares said that they always wanted to create the remake, with the war forcing them to make it now.
What the team did share before that, are some shots from the game, which look gorgeous.
The game will release on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
