President of games at Creative Assembly, Rich Aldridge, recently informed gamers of upcoming content for Total War: Warhammer 3. The developer elaborated on how the team spent the previous year not just improving the current state of Immortal Empires but also laying the groundwork for potential additional content. Aldridge did not provide any concrete information regarding these updates, but he did say one would be ready in April 2023 and two more would be delivered later in the year.
In 2022, two add-ons, Immortal Empires as well as Champions of Chaos, were released for Total War: Warhammer 3. After the discovery of voice recordings indicating the existence of Chaos Dwarfs, gamers have been anxiously awaiting word of impending content.
“We knew that we needed to get Immortal Empires to you in the best possible state,” Aldridge said in a video. “That’s where we focused all of our efforts last year. Making sure that we’ve got a great foundation going forward through Immortal Empires, but also in patching Warhammer 3 itself and getting it to the state we need it to be to add new content and experiences later this year and beyond.”
Players are frustrated by Creative Assembly’s silence on Total War: Warhammer 3 developments. In response to this rising anxiety, Aldridge said that the development team for the project is attempting to be as specific as possible in their statements. The developer pleaded for players’ tolerance and said that the Warhammer 3 development group has been striving tirelessly to provide new content.
While the specifics of the forthcoming downloadable content are still being kept under wraps, gamers have been quick to speculate about the possibility of Chaos Dwarfs being included.
