Earlier this year, Activision Blizzard gave us a glimpse at the upcoming Diablo 4. The sequel to the iconic isometric RPG series Diablo sees players going on a journey to fend off Lilith. Back in June, during the Xbox showcase, the developers gave a deep dive into the game, the multiplayer and much more. Over the months after that, players have taken part in various private betas.
Now, as per a report by Window’s Central, the game might drop as early as April of next year. According to the website, sources closer to them have confirmed the possibility of Diablo 4 launching in April 2023.

Furthermore, the game will reveal its’ launch window in this year’s Game Awards, opening up the pre-orders in the process. There will be various digital pre-order options alongside premium physical collector’s editions with goodies for the hardcore fans of the title.
In more Activision Blizzard-related news, the company’s other title Overwatch 2 performed exceptionally well amidst a rocky launch. The game saw upward of 25 million players trying the title out, breaking records in the process. The president of Blizzard also commended the success of the title.
Diablo 4 will launch for PC via Battle.net, Xbox and PlayStation sometime in 2023. Its mobile spin-off Diablo Immortal is currently out for Android and iOS.
