Everyone who plays video games can agree that Xbox Gamepass by Microsoft is a value-for-money service. Dubbed “the Netflix for video games”, the subscription service provides tons of titles for a very low price. It doesn’t end there, as the ultimate tier of the service not only allows players to try the service on an Xbox console and PC, but it also allows gaming on the go, thanks to the cloud service.

Unfortunately, the subscription options for Gamepass are not varied, with one subscription being tied to one individual account. So if one wants to share their account with their family members, it is quite a headache. Earlier this month, Microsoft started testing a new offer for the service in Colombia and Ireland.
As per a new leak on Twitter, we have. Called Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family, the new service will allow users to add up to four people to a subscription.

Xbox is currently testing the feature in Ireland and Colombia, as earlier this month, they confirmed it. Xbox also said that users need to be in the same country as the original user to use the service. Additionally, Xbox plans on pricing the new tier for Gamepass higher than the base service.
So once the plan starts rolling out for the rest of the world, users can experience the service with their friends. In other Xbox-related news, amidst the talk of PlayStation increasing the pricing of PlayStation 5, Xbox came forward to confirm no price hike for Series X/S consoles. Which is good until you take the price hike for the console in India a few months back.
