It isn’t a shocker when people mention God of War Ragnarok as their most anticipated game. The sequel to 2018’s action-adventure game is one of the major releases for the PlayStation console. After initial silence, we finally know when the game is arriving on November 9th.

With previews for the title saying nothing but praises, leaks for God of War Ragnarok started emerging. Over the last few days, several internet users started uploading videos and late-game spoilers for the upcoming title. One user also uploaded the entirety of the conclusion for the title.
This naturally made the director of Santa Monica Studio and Creative Director for the title displeased. Cory Barlog took to Twitter to air his frustration with the spoiler situation.
you know, right now, I can really understand the benefit of having just an installer on the physical disc.

“you know, right now, I can understand the benefit of having just an installer on the physical disc”, says Barlog on his Twitter.
He goes on to criticize the fact that a retailer sold God of War Ragnarok two weeks before its release. He also apologized to the fans who wanted to play the game spoiler-free, saying no one at the studio wanted this to happen.
God of War Ragnarok continues the story of Kratos and Atreus from the previous title. The title originally planned for a release in 2021 but Sony delayed it to this year. The game will launch for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on November 9, 2022.
