Lionsgate-produced John Wick movies have become a big part of pop culture. The action-adventure movie starred by Keanu Reeves has spawned three movies, one TV show in production and another sequel coming out soon.
One might think that the setting of the movie will spawn video games, and it did. In 2020, Bithell Games launched a turn-based Tactical game called John Wick: Hex. On top of this, Payday 2 received a DLC based on the movie with a mission, character and weapons. Furthermore, we’ve got two separate John Wick skins in Fortnite.

Unfortunately, fans and gamers are yet to get a definitive John Wick experience. One that will put players in the front seat of the action as the eponymous hero. Fortunately, Lionsgate also shares the sentiments with the fanbase.
In a recent earnings call (via Indiewire), Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer spoke about executives looking to expand the series. They wanted to do that through a large video game project, claiming that the company started fielding proposals.
“I don’t want to get ahead of myself here, but we believe there is a big AAA game to be made out of John Wick,” Feltheimer said.
“We have been fielding proposals. We certainly are interested in moving that forward, but I do not want to say anything more about that at this time.”
Hopefully, we’ll hear something positive about these endeavours very soon.
