Lies of P is an upcoming action soulslike game which takes inspiration from Pinnochio’s story. Except, the developers gave a dark twist to the storyline.
According to the developer and publisher Neowiz, the game is “Inspired by the familiar story of Pinocchio, Lies of P is an action souls-like game set in a dark Belle Époque world. Guide Pinocchio on his unrelenting journey to become human.”
Apart from the initial reveal, we haven’t heard much about the game from any outlet or from the developer itself. Fortunately, it is Gamescom week, and we might get some news about it as per the tweet by Aaron Greenberg (via VGC).

Xbox’s Aaron Greenberg recently tweeted their Xbox booth, showcasing the games playable there. In one of the images, we see Lies of P playable beside The Plague Tale: Requiem.

This indicates that maybe Xbox might handle the marketing of the game. What is even more hopeful is seeing that the game is playable in the Xbox booth, the developers might announce the title coming to Gamepass.
Whatever the case be, we might get some news about the game in some capacity in the upcoming weeks. The developers also confirmed premiering a new trailer at Gamescom, so maybe they’ll officially announce it for Xbox Game Pass.
