PlayStation first revealed Spider-Man 2 during their 2021 State of Play and is likely to debut in Fall 2023. After multiple leaks, the publishers have finally confirmed the release window for the sequel in their recent blog.
As per the blog, the Fall 2023 release is only for PS5 specifically and not PS4. Sony has previously mentioned the game will be a PS5 exclusive game, however, fans still hope to enjoy the game on their previous-gen model.
About Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Fall 2023 release
Insomniac’s take on the Spider-Man series is dear to many fans who have played the game. When it was first revealed back in the year 2021, fans were excited to see a sequel in development.
In the showcase trailer, the developers featured the return of the iconic duo of Miles Morales and Peter Parker. However, it was the Venom and Kraven easter eggs at excited the masses more.
In their recent blog post, Insomniac has provided some updates about the game development and how they are focusing to give an original Spider-Man adventure.
Bryan Intihar, the creative director of the game stated the following, “What a year it’s been for PlayStation Studios; here at Insomniac Games we’ve been in absolute awe of the work of our peers.”
He also quoted, “Congrats to everyone on a successful 2022… and here’s to next year being just as exciting as we continue to get Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 ready for release next fall.”
Insomniac has finally confirmed the steady development of the Spider-Man sequel and will be shipping in 2023 as intended. More information regarding the game can be expected in the State of Play 2023.

However, what it holds for fans is unknown. Nonetheless, the Fall 2023 release schedule is already exciting for many and Insomniac is trying to fulfill the expectations. How will that actually turn out can only be said after its release next fall.
