MultiVersus by Warner Bros. Games has managed to garner a considerably large fanbase around it. Featuring characters from various titles from Warner Bros., the game got each respective fanbase playing and enjoying the platform fighting marvel which it is.

Part of its popularity also stems from the fact that the developer of the title’s pretty active on his socials, taking feedback from the player base.

With the developers updating and balancing MultiVersus frequently, the new update also brings in some positive changes. However, one particular change raises eyebrows. According to the patch notes for the title (via VGC), the version 1.03 patch will increase the time needed to level up a character from level 3 to 15.

With the new update, the amount of XP required to level up from level 3 to level 15 got doubled. This will make reaching level 15 much longer and time-consuming. As per the patch note description, the reason for the change is down below:

We were finding that players could get to level 15 of the mastery track too quickly. This is to help us make it a bit more of a journey.

On a more positive note, the new patch finally welcomes Rick Sanchez to the game. As confirmed back in October, Rick is a mage character.

MultiVersus is currently available in some parts of the world on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. Head to the official MultiVersus website to read the patch-notes changes.
