Actress Annie Wersching noted for her roles as Tess in The Last of Us as well as Renee Walker in 24, has died at the tender age of 45 following a fight against cancer. Wersching’s representative acknowledged the actor’s death at the age of 45 to Deadline, which first reported the news.
Although Wersching received the prognosis in 2020, she kept acting in the years thereafter, appearing in shows like The Rookie as well as Star Trek: Picard. The death of Wersching has been met with widespread mourning and condolences from all corners of the world, especially her husband, Stephen Full.
According to Stephan Full
“There is a cavernous hole in the soul of this family today. But she left us the tools to fill it. She found wonder in the simplest moment. She didn’t require music to dance. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find you. ‘Go find it. It’s everywhere.’ And find it we shall. As I drove our boys, the true loves of her life, down the winding driveway and street, she would yell BYE! until we were out of earshot and into the world. I can still hear it ringing. Bye my Buddie. ‘I love you little family…’ “
