Silent Hill 2. A game that keeps on giving agony, rather than happiness. While PC players have enjoyed a great gameplay experience thanks to the efforts of a group of modders, the same can’t be said for console players.
With the final Silent Hill project by Hideo Kojima getting scrapped, the series went into a coma for the next couple of years. Fortunately, there is news of Konami trying to revive the series with two seperate titles in the series.

As per new leaks, however, it seems the rumours might be a reality waiting for its reveal. A new set of images got leaked from the Silent Hill 2 remake by Bloober Team.

As per noted insider Dusk Golem, the images are from an internal pitch demo by Bloober to greenlit the project. Golem says these were “no-budget proof of concept things,” and the final game looks entirely different.
VGC reported in February that a Silent Hill 2 remake is actively being developed. Made by Bloober Team, the title’s planned to be a timed exclusive for PlayStation consoles and a planned PC release. Additionally, an episodic series of Silent Hill “short stories” are also in development at a studio at Annapurna Interactive, the publisher known for Neon White, Outer Wilds and more.
This project is in an effort by Konami to ramp up their premium game development last year.
