Steam has become the go-to digital storefront for gamers around the world. The Valve curated storefront houses thousands of games by hundreds of developers, making it the platform of choice.

The other reason for preference by many is the yearly Steam sales. During these dates, the games are sold at a discount, allowing gamers to save more and buy more.
Valve is all set to host its next few Steam sale. Through the official Steam News website, Valve announced the dates for the next three sales. The dates, in order, are:
Upcoming Steam Sale Dates
- Autumn Sale: November 22, 2022, to November 29, 2022
- Winter Sale: December 22, 2022, to January 5, 2023
- Spring Sale: March 16, 2023, to March 23, 2023
During these three months, publishers will discount their offerings on Steam, allowing gamers to pay less. Valve is also changing a few things in the way they handle the Steam sale. Starting the calendar year 2023, the annual Lunar Sale will get replaced by Spring Sale, scrapping Lunar Sale.
Valve mentions they decided to do so because, as per feedback, Lunar Sale was too close to the December holiday sale period.
This is one of the few changes Valve is actively trying to bring on Steam. The other was the recent changes to the Steam product artwork. So gamers now have dates to plan around to buy their favourite next title.
