It isn’t a secret that Microsoft has been busy the whole month testing new features to make the lives of Xbox users easier. While Xbox insiders are digging their nails in various new features, the company rolled out the September update.
The new update brings in a few needed updates to the consoles which users may find important. For starters, Xbox users can now customize the Xbox button colour on their Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2.

The new update puts in a new configuration option through which users can choose from a white array of colours that combine red, blue, and green LEDs to produce over 16 million hues of light.
The second important feature in this update is a full library revamp on consoles. The update redesigned the My games and apps Full library view, streamlining access to all games available to install and play. Furthermore, after the new update, all games show all the titles a user owns. This includes games via Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Gold, and EA Access.
The third feature added through the update is the ability to select storage locations for games and apps. It is now possible for users to choose different default installation locations for games and apps. Additionally, it provides users with seperate default locations for different types of games, allowing for better storage usage.
In the end, these are some much-needed changes to the console, making the user experience pleasant. To read about these updates in detail, head over to Xbox’s official website. In more Xbox-related news, the company is currently testing a whole UI revamp for the console, due out next year.
