In a major announcement last year, Lego and Fortnite revealed that they were joining forces to create an immersive and engaging digital experience for kids. While the details of this collaboration were kept under wraps, it was made clear that it would be family-friendly and encourage kids to unleash their creativity. It was also hinted that the project would involve the metaverse, with Epic referring to Fortnite as its metaverse. Finally, we are starting to see some progress, and a release date for the collaboration is on the horizon.
The Fortnite X LEGO collaboration continues to progress, as Epic Games is now internally testing a new version called "Dev-JunoStable" (Juno = LEGO)
The expected release date for the collab is Chapter 4 – Season 4, based on the version of the test servers.

According to a recent leak from Fortnite leaker Shiina, the collaboration between Fortnite and LEGO is advancing, with Epic Games currently conducting internal tests on a new version called ‘Dev-JunoStable’ (Juno being a reference to LEGO). Shiina cites information from data miner @GMatrixGames, who suggests that the collaboration is likely to be released during Chapter 4 – Season 4, based on the version of the test servers being used. While we still don’t have many details about what this collaboration will entail, the progress being made is sure to excite fans of both franchises.
With Fortnite’s current Chapter 4, Season 2, underway and set to end in early June, it’s likely that the collaboration with LEGO won’t arrive until Season 4, which is expected to debut sometime in the winter. Given the shared focus on building and creativity between the two brands, it’s safe to assume that the collaboration will play into this aspect of their respective identities. Perhaps we’ll see structures made out of LEGO bricks in Fortnite or a LEGO set featuring iconic Fortnite characters. Alternatively, the collaboration could take the form of a Fortnite Creative project where players can take a break from battling and engage in some constructive play with LEGO.
It will be interesting to see how the collaboration between Fortnite and Lego will play out, as both brands are known for their creativity and building elements. There are many possibilities for what the collaboration could entail, from in-game Lego structures to Lego-themed cosmetics. Lego has a history of collaborating with other brands, such as Super Mario Bros., so it’s possible we could see similar teasers for the upcoming Fortnite collaboration.
Meanwhile, in other Fortnite news, the OG SMG has made a return, allowing players to obtain the weapon in all rarities up to Legendary for the first time since the game’s first season. The SMG is a close-range weapon that can deal significant damage, making it a popular choice among players.
