Fallout New Vegas in Unreal Engine 5 Too Good to be Real

Fallout: New Vegas launched approximately a decade ago and sticks out as one of the most significant games in the long-running series. Many people believe Fallout 4 to be the finest Fallout title ever developed, and this is particularly true when comparing it to the more contemporary approaches brought to the series after Bethesda assumed control in 2008. There has been the latest distribution of a clip showing what the gameplay may appear like in current technology, but the title has been out for a decade or two.

The Unreal Clip

Video from the YouTube channel TeaserPlay, which was discovered by DSO Gaming, depicts what Fallout: New Vegas may appear in the latest and most revolutionary Unreal Engine 5. The Mojave Hellhole appears excellent in this dev kit, displaying fine texture and stunning illumination, as many others have grown to anticipate from this technology. However, it should be made clear that the clip doesn’t really reflect any upcoming formal or unofficial remakes.

TeaserPlay has released a number of similar videos, so if this concept rings a bell, it’s because it is. Grand Theft Auto 3 with Unreal Engine 5 was successfully proved in a clip. Some of their previous projects include Vice City, Assassins Creed, Resident Evil 4, Red Dead Revolver, and much more. Retelling earlier titles in contemporary toolkits is an intriguing undertaking since it shows how far videogame tech has progressed in such a short period, as well as the possibilities for doing so.

Fallout New Vegas

As among the most widely utilized gaming technologies, both AAA and indie games alike make use of the Unreal Engine. Several highly awaited titles, like Redfall, as well as CD Projekt Red’s planned sequel to The Witcher 3, are already using the most recent iteration of the engine. Bethesda officially announced that Fallout 5 will be created at a certain point in the future employing the same engine.

While it’s true that it’s a long time away, the company is prioritizing development on The Elder Scrolls 6 before everything else. As a result, the next Fallout game might be years away. TeaserPlay’s new clip is a fascinating attempt to explore what happens if a videogame that is more than ten years old is rebuilt with modern technologies.
