It isn’t a shocker when people mention God of War Ragnarok as their most anticipated game. The sequel to 2018’s action-adventure game is one of the major releases for the PlayStation console. After initial silence, we finally know when the game is arriving, and it is this year.

Announced an hour ago through a PlayStation blog post and on their official Twitter, the game will launch on November 9, 2022. The game will be playable on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It further reaffirms the leaks taking place a few weeks ago, staying in line with the expected November release.

A CGI trailer also accompanied the announcement. Called Father and Son, it sees Kratos and Atreus duking it out against hoards of enemies. We get a glimpse at a few enemies and a big Wolf at the end of the trailer. Check out the trailer down below.
