Halo Infinite Bring Back the Legendary Gun

Updates to Halo Infinite would be marking the return of the legendary weapon that long-time fans love and adore dubbed the “tank gun.” The removal of this firearm from the combat previously this summer when the title started its second sprint drew a lot of criticism from followers of the genre. The tank cannon has been referred to be “glitchy” on occasion.

According to the developer’s Project Lead John Junyszek, the tank cannon would “make its way back atop Base Tremonius” in the next patch. Junyszek made the announcement. The public has been forewarned of its eviction by Junyszek in the past. Speedrunners and medal seekers take note! The designer warned them on social media a couple of months back  “The game’s tank canon issue would be fixed and addressed in this run.”

What “Tank Gun”

The tank gun is essentially a portable variant of the Scorpion’s gun with an endless supply of ammo. Because of its capacity to ramp up gameplay, the gun has become a favorite with speedrunners. Station Tremonious had a task where the tank cannon could be located, even if it was truly hidden. People on social media, such as Reddit and Twitter, expressed their outrage over the removal of this mechanic from the PVP shooter.

In addition, 343 will restore a number of previously removed leaps to the game’s cooperative mode. Junyszek said that eliminating a lot of skill leaps from the gameplay was a blunder, based on the tremendous positive reaction from the game’s users. The pizza leap is one of them.

There were two sorts of sites where these leaps fell: spots where the landscape was not properly conveying the game’s movement choices or locations that produced a fighting mismatch,” the designer noted. A player’s response to our examination of these leaps has made it evident that we were off the goal.

A lot of attention has been paid to user input as the game started its second season, says Junyszek. At the beginning of the week, Junyszek noted-

“We’ve noticed the comments regarding adjustments that affected numerous competitive leaps and game speedrun methods”. “We’re not yet at the place where we can make any promises, however we want to be open and honest and state that we’re treating the criticism carefully and evaluating all of our alternatives.”

However, Junyszek stated that the patch would be delivered in the coming days despite the lack of a launch schedule. That said, “Our crew has been pushing themselves tirelessly, however, there are currently an another few actions to take until we can push this version out for our players,” the designer said. “In the coming few weeks, we’ll offer additional information on the particular delivery window of this patch.”
