Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 remains to be one of the most anticipated games of the year. To keep the hype up, Sony has recently released a new live-action trailer which was first broadcasted on the Australian ESPN channel. Following along, a more high-quality version was later put on the internet via various mediums.
The trailer features a CGI Spider-Man on the streets of Manhattan swinging by and fighting crime. The entire showcase has been done using a fake news broadcast to highlight the heroicness of the Spider-Men duo. This has been done as the upcoming game features both Miles Morales and Peter Parker.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for PlayStation 5 creates much hype
Many are speculating that the game will be released in early 2023 as the trailer first originated on Australian broadcast where it is the Fall season now. However, that case isn’t likely to happen as Sony has mostly released games according to said schedule.
Additionally, it should also be noted no official statement has been made regarding the live-action trailer from Insomniac Games. This might be happening because the publishers might be waiting for Super Bowl which will be happening on February 12, 2023.
The Super Bowl is known for its unique selection of commercials that hype the biggest upcoming franchises. Now that Sony has started the marketing campaign for Spider-Man 2, PlayStation seems positive about their upcoming game and how it will perform.

In addition to this, PlayStation has even teased news related to many other titles like God of War, Uncharted, and other first-party games from their studio. All these things are being done with the “Live from PS5” campaign which is completely new for their latest generation console.
It can be expected that Sony will be making many other announcements later on through this campaign, so the interested audience needs to keep their heads up. Some speculations are being made for a God of War web series and a new Uncharted game featuring Nathan Drake’s daughter.
