Sony recently announced the new PlayStation Plus service for the system, offering three tiers of services. Also known as PS Plus, each offers various benefits, including monthly free games.

Much like every month, there was a leak yesterday that revealed PlayStation Plus August games. Hours later, PlayStation officially confirmed the leak, revealing the games for August.

Starting August 2, PlayStation Plus will get a chance to check three great games. The games are:

  • Yakuza: Like a Dragon (PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5)
  • Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 (PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5)
  • Little Nightmares (PlayStation 4)

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is the seventh mainline entry in the long-running Yakuza series of games. The entry follows Ichiban Kasuga, a member of the Tojo Clan in Tokyo returning to society after 18 years in prison. Featuring a beautifully rendered open-world city, players go through a gripping tale of rags to riches while enjoying the crazy-yet-fun turn-based combat and many side activities.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 is the definitive remaster of the iconic arcade skateboarding game on PlayStation. Rebuilt from the ground up in HD, all the features from the original game return, alongside new audio tracks and a new roster of Olympian skaters for players to shred through the stages.

Finally, Little Nightmares is a dark story which confronts childhood fears. Players help Six escape The Maw through a disturbing dollhouse acting as a prison.

Except for Little Nightmares, all three games will be playable on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Interested users require an active PlayStation Plus membership to try out the titles.
