Pokemon Scarlet & Violet might’ve received public scrutiny over its various aspects. However, that hasn’t stopped the title from becoming one of the biggest launches for Japanese developer and console maker Nintendo. It also became the biggest physical launch for any software in Japan.
Unfortunately, while criticism for bugs in the game is already there, it seems Pokemon Scarlet & Violet got entangled in further issues. Earlier, a user claimed that the RNG system for multiplayer battles is pre-determined. Now, it seems a new glitch allows players to duplicate Pokemons.

Spotted by Polygon, some Tik Tok users have uncovered methods to duplicate items and legendary Pokemons. From these two, legendary Pokemon duplication is significant as only two of the legendary Pokemon shown on the box art are available in-game.
The glitch takes advantage of the picnic system. If a player places a picnic table in a sparkling area on the ground, the items found in the sparkling area can get duplicated over and over again. The trick from here onward is to fool the title into letting players deposit the Pokemon into the storage box.
Additionally, it should be noted that the internal data of a Pokemon is identical to the original Pokemon, something which shouldn’t be possible. Hence, when Game Freak patches this problem, this might affect the saved data.
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is the next entry in the long-running monster-collecting RPG by GameFreak and Nintendo. The game is out exclusively on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite and Nintendo Switch OLED.
