At the moment the Last of Us Part 1 PC port is getting a lot of heat because of multiple reasons. Many state that the is absolutely unplayable and needed optimizations. While the runs fine on its original intended platform, the story isn’t the same for the Steam PC version.

Last of Us Part 1 takes the players on an unforgettable journey in a post-apocalyptic world filled with undead infected people. This article will be deep diving into the current matters and discuss why there is so much hate surrounding the PC port.

The reason behind The Last os Us PC port hate

Many players have expressed their anger towards the PC port company, Iron Galaxy, which has a reputation for delivering subpar ports for popular titles such as Batman: Arkham Knight and the Uncharted franchise. This reputation seems to have carried over to the game in question, leading to widespread disappointment among PC gamers.

The negative reviews may also reflect other issues such as bugs, glitches, and performance problems that players have encountered while playing the game on their computers. Overall, the negative reception of the game on Steam highlights the importance of delivering high-quality ports to PC gamers, who expect a smooth and enjoyable gaming experience on their preferred platform.

The horror-adventure game is facing several technical issues that are causing frustration among players. The game is prone to screen freezes, where it locks up at any time, and sometimes takes Steam or the whole system with it. Players are experiencing constant crashes while playing the game, adding to the overall negative experience.

Many players have criticized the poor optimization of the game, with complaints that it consumes too much CPU and not enough GPU, resulting in subpar performance. Even on high-end systems, the game is not as smooth as it should be, which is disappointing for players who expected better from Naughty Dog. Finally, using a mouse and keyboard together results in stuttering, but the issue disappears when using a gamepad. This issue is similar to those faced in Iron Galaxy’s previous ports, such as Uncharted. Overall, these issues highlight the importance of optimizing games for PC and addressing technical problems before release.
