Since leaving competitive Overwatch in 2019 to resume full-time broadcasting, xQc has amassed over 11 million subscribers and become one of Twitch’s most prominent individuals.
Lengyel is no stranger to the high tensions that may arise on Twitch, having broken up with broadcaster Adept in September 2022 and so causing a schism among several of the site’s most popular content providers. Due to his advocacy of betting to a largely youthful crowd, he has been repeatedly removed from the site and subjected to extensive condemnation.
