Forspoken’s climactic enemy battle footage surfaced on the internet days before the title’s official launch in January 2023. There are a lot of open-world titles due in 2023, notably Starfield, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Forspoken is among the first big AAA titles of the year.
While the announcement of Forspoken was met with a certain degree of excitement from fans, the demo published by Square Enix has seemingly caused those hopes to diminish gradually. In December 2022, as a special treat for players, a sample of Forspoken was released on PS5 so that they could try out the game’s mechanics and open environment. The game’s last boss was revealed online only days before Forspoken’s release.
A YouTube account reportedly leaked the last battle and what seems to be the finale of Forspoken in a 20-minute video, as published by media sources. The clip starts with a huge action sequence in which the heroine, Frey, rides a dragon and uses its fire strike to destroy several foes. Players at level 52 are then shown a brief preview of the Forspoken skill tree.
Frey continues to astonish with her impressive display of power throughout the boss fight by making use of a broad range of charms and capabilities from the Forspoken spellbook. She’s criticizing and making remarks to the enemy as the conflict progresses through its many stages. The last scene appears to represent the conclusion of Forspoken, or at least a substantial portion of it; nevertheless, there may be further content that was omitted from the film.
Not only is this clip accessible online, but the first hour of the title was also released a few days ago. Players should be aware that the final encounter fight appears to be more of a visual event and may not be representative of the gaming encounter in the open world. It’s also peculiar that the clip has remained online for a whole day without being removed. The gaming industry isn’t used to leaks of this kind, particularly for a major release, and when they do happen, they’re usually patched very swiftly.
