Deathloop, which has been out for more than a year, just reached a new player milestone by surpassing five million total participants. Deathloop is a one-of-a-kind game where the gamer is thrust into a time vortex and must travel through it to murder many leaders; it has been much praised since its release.
Deathloop, one of 2021’s most highly awaited titles, has finally been released to mostly positive reviews. Arkane Studios, creators of the groundbreaking Dishonored series, are responsible for this installment. The titles are quite comparable, which is why many Dishonored fans have jumped at the chance to try out Arkane’s latest IP. With the launch of Redfall later this year, the developer has a fantastic opportunity to further establish its name with yet another excellent game.
The official Deathloop handle sent the tweet to mark the occasion, which marks five million gamers since the game’s release. Several appreciative players commented on the page to express their gratitude to the creator. While it is unknown whether or not these figures represent Xbox Game Pass gamers, the fact remains that it is an excellent feat for the title.
With Microsoft’s purchase of Bethesda’s publishing arm, the game became available on Xbox Game Pass before the end of last year, giving more gamers a chance to experience Deathloop.
In addition to the gameplay tips, the Deathloop feed also shared some fascinating facts concerning player behavior. Gamers in Deathloop have shot enough rounds to circle the Earth three and a half times, and Updaam is the deadliest location in the game, responsible for 35,548,435 fatalities. When you consider that there are five million participants, the amount of fatalities each day (35 million) makes logical. That fact, however, does not make them any less intriguing.
Deathloop has been out for about a year and a half, but already players are demanding additional content from developer Arkane Studios because of the franchise possibility of the game. Unconfirmed reports over the last several months suggested that a Deathloop successor was in the works. By the looks of things, the game has done rather well, particularly for a fresh IP in a market saturated with sequels and remakes.
