Polish developer CD Projekt RED has been a force to reckon with over the years. The developers are best known for their stellar job in The Witcher series and the not-so-stellar job in Cyberpunk 2077. However, over the past couple of months, the company has slowly gotten back its credibility, thanks to its continued support of the titles.
Now, a new strategy update discloses how well both The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 franchises performed. As per the video, the studio has managed to ship 85 million copies approximately over the years.

President Adam Kicinski spoke about the development in the meeting.
“We have delivered four profound and memorable games that continue to appeal to more and more gamers. We are proud to announce that Cyberpunk 2077 has sold over 20 million copies. With this, we have collectively sold over 85 million games of our four flagship games so far,” said Kicinski.
“Thanks to full creative and financial independence, we truly feel that our future is in our hands. It is deeply motivating.”
Recently, CD Projekt RED officially announced that multiple projects in The Witcher franchise and a new Cyberpunk 2077 game are in development using Unreal Engine 5. Furthermore, CD Projekt RED also shared that one of those projects is a Witcher 1 remake under the Polish studio Fool’s Gold.
