In a blog post the developers said, “On September 20, Xbox players will be able to jump into the colorful world and time-warped action of DEATHLOOP. DEATHLOOP will also be included in Game Pass, Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox All Access on console and PC on day one. Experience Arkane Lyon’s unique spin on the first-person shooter and lose yourself on Blackreef.”

Along with this, a new major update will also be coming soon with cross-platform PvP matchmaking and a lot of other changes. There are new weapons, a new ability, new trinkets, plus new enemies to go head-to-head with, and more.

Taking more about the crossplay update for PvP matchmaking, the developers have confirmed that it would work across PlayStation Network, Xbox, Steam, Epic and the Microsoft Store versions. Setting up a Cross-Platform Matchmaking setting for any of the platforms would be possible. One can also set the Cross-Platform Matchmaking controller to all controller types or the same one which they’re using too.

In addition to this, the Xbox console and PC versions will also feature cross-purchase and cross-save, so if you purchase Deathloop through the Microsoft Store on either Xbox or PC, you’ll be able to play it on your other Microsoft platforms and start right where you left off.
