It can be a real challenge to reach the highest rank in Valorant, primarily because it is such a competitive game. In case you are unfamiliar with Valorant, it is a hero shooter game developed by Riot Games for Microsoft Windows. An excellent way to conceptualize Valorant is like a modern, improved version of Counter-Strike. Riot Games provide a ranking system to help you assess your performance; the ranks are as follows: Iron, bronze, silver gold, platinum, diamond, immortal, and finally, the elusive radiant rank. In this guide, I will walk you through some tips to help you get there faster. If you wish to fast-track this process, get yourself one of these amazing Valorant accounts for sale. So let’s dig into it!

Practice at the range

The popular belief that time spent in the arena means that you will exponentially improve in the arena is, of course, true. Actual battle allows you to improve accuracy, map skills, communication, and many other valuable skills. Although, the excitement of the arena makes it nearly impossible to measure real-time improvement. The range is perfect for this. Not only does the content allow you to practice shot accuracy and reaction time purely, but you can also clearly see your improvement over time.

The range is a terribly underrated asset. Within the range, you can calculate how long it takes you to kill a certain number of enemies, and even control the rate at which they spawn. Additionally, another massive benefit of the range is that it allows you to become intimately familiar with all the other weapons in Valorant.

Get to know the maps

The four maps available in Valorant are Split, Bind, Heaven, and Ascent. Once you have somewhat mastered the shooting range so that you have stellar reaction times and deadly accuracy, you will find that learning map structures are essential. There are unique flank strategies, bomb placement locations, hideaways, sightlines, and cover options for each, and if
you get to know what works best where you will be absolutely deadly.

Apart from just spending time battling on these maps, watching YouTube videos is also an excellent way to learn about map structure without having to worry about opponents firing away at you every second. Once you have mastered the map locations, making the best decisions in various scenarios will be much easier.

Test out all the agents

While it is recommended to eventually find a favorite agent to main with, it is important to at least give every one of them a fair chance. Each agent has four specialized abilities that have optimal utilization on the battlefield. If you want to learn more about each of them, you can find more information here. Don’t fall for the trap of over-commitment too early in the game.

By playing firsthand with all the agents, you can learn the strengths and weaknesses of each. There really is no substitute for simply getting into the arena and battling it out.

Communicate effectively

While personal mastery is essential, teamwork should not be overlooked. Perhaps the most important part of Valorant, knowing how to communicate with those in your team will make or break every battle in the arena. Every agent has something valuable to bring to the table, whether it be aggressive offense, gathering valuable intel, or having a stalwart defense. Learning to optimize all of these angles will make your team unstoppable. Having the correct hardware can also be very valuable, there are many amazing products available that are recommended by professional gamers. A quick google search will do. Communicating effectively with your team and therefore winning matches makes everyone feel like they completed a high-effort, collaborative task. Making for a more fulfilling experience overall.

Closing off

Being a great Valorant player, and therefore reaching the radiant rank, involves a combination of many different things. From mastering shot accuracy to learning how to communicate with your teammates. That is the beauty of shooter games like Valorant. The truth is that there is no alternative to practice in the game. Continual grinding is the best way to get better at Valorant. Luckily that is what we are here for. So jump in and enjoy
