Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is out for most platforms, gaining positive reception. The sequel to 2018’s Modern Warfare and reboot of 2008’s game of the same name, the title’s bringing back some of the fan-favourite characters.
However, the game had some minor hiccups during its launch. Activision fell under scrutiny after making crossplay permanent for PC and Xbox and disclosing PlayStation-exclusive rewards. On top of this, players discovered a bug which turned the ping system into a wallhack.

With such headaches on the publisher, it seems it doesn’t end there for Activision. Many users noticed a mistake on the Xbox copies of Canadian Modern Warfare 2, which features a misprint on them.
The boxed Xbox copies of the shooter boldly mention the franchise to be the best-selling on Xbox. Immediately below it, they call the franchise to be the best-selling on PlayStation in French. Games in Canada need to have box text in both English and French. Many users have confirmed the same, sharing an image of the box online.
Also, some players who purchased the Xbox physical edition of #MWII in Canada have noticed an error on the box.
"The best selling franchise on Xbox" somehow translated in French to "PlayStation."

The mistake becomes absurd and funny when you take the current spat happening between both companies over the Activision Blizzard acquisition. Since these are nothing but a misprint, future copies will get fixed, making these a rare item to hold.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is currently out for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S with full crossplay. Earlier, leakers confirmed that Sledgehammer Games might be revisiting the world of Advanced Warfare in 2024.
