Xbox Series S console might not manage to get into many households initially, but the successor to Xbox One is a fan favourite. Part of the reason for people purchasing the consoles includes many reasons. One of them is the Xbox Game Pass offering, along with the ease of emulating titles on the platform.
Naturally, with such great options on the platform, the Xbox Series X sold well during Black Friday. In parts of the world, retailers offer electronic parts for a discounted price, which prompts people to purchase them, calling it Black Friday.

As per a 2022 Holiday Shopping Trend report by Adobe, the Xbox Series X was one of the five “hot products” during the sales. It went head-on-head against Bluey, a children’s show, Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, drones and Apple Macbooks.
Interestingly, Apple doesn’t specify how they define a product to be a “hot product”, nor explain the factors taken into consideration while choosing the console over PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch or Series S.
Interestingly, last year, Adobe highlighted the smaller Series S to be a top-selling item during the Black Friday sales across the country. They concluded after analysing some one trillion visits to retail sites. Additionally, Adobe surveyed over 1000 retailers on their most popular items. Hopefully, they used the same method to determine this year’s list.
