Riot Games has announced the arrival of a new Valorant Agent, referred to as “Agent 24,” as part of Episode 7, Act 3. With multiple teasers on the way, the valorant community is filled with hype and has started speculating more details regarding the Agent coming to the game.

Valorant’s Agent 24: What We Know So Far
Firstly, Riot Games has previously disclosed that Episode 7 will introduce two new agents and two maps, with one agent already in the game, known as Deadlock, alongside the maps Lotus and Sunset. This leaves Agent 24 as the highly awaited agent, which is set to debut before the close of 2023. While the developers have maintained a certain level of secrecy surrounding the new agent, some clues and teasers have been provided to fuel the speculation.
Release Date of Agent 24
Developers revealed in their initial announcement that Agent 24 will be released before the end of 2023. However, they have not given any concrete date for their arrival.
Based on agents released at this time of year, Chamber and Harbor both were released around mid-October and November, respectively. The newest arrival will be before December unless the developers have something planned up in their sleeves.
Valorant Agent 24: Role
In their Episode 7 teaser, Character Producer for Valorant John Goscicki announced Agent 24’s role had been confirmed as a “Duelist, “making it the seventh duelist to join Valorant. However, he did not reveal much information about the abilities or ultimate.

Possibility 1: In a blog post, they included a picture of a Chinese hotpot with duck blood, a Chinese delicacy, which indicates that Agent 24 could be Chinese. This would also coincide with the official release of Valorant in China. (July 12th 2023)

Possibility 2: However, others also speculated the agent could be from Singapore, as Singapore has deep connections to Chinese cuisine, and Jinggg, a Singaporean player for the Team Paper Rex, was mentioned in the dev post. The official confirmation of Agent 24 is still yet to be confirmed.
Abilities :
Another teaser was spotted on Sunset, where a glowing purple circle was visible in the Defender spawn area. This circle is very similar to the leaked “Bulletproof” Player Card. Speculations say that it might be connected to the agent’s abilities. Unfortunately, there is no official information regarding the abilities yet.

Although we know the agent will be a duelist, many details, likeability, and origin, remain a mystery. The teasers, including the Chinese hotpot image of the purple circle in the new Sunset Map, might fuel the hype, but the complete picture of Agent 24’s identity and capabilities are unknown.
