Bethesda released their latest addition to their Elder Scrolls Online franchise, Elder Scrolls Necrom covers the Daedric God Hermaeus Mora and how untold powers threaten his realm. Players will travel through new worlds uncovering secrets and knowledge in order to prevent it from happening.
The trailer releases at Xbox Games Showcase, and the game becomes available on Xbox Game Pass, including PC/Mac versions. The game is launching on consoles on June 20, 2023. It will provide players with 30 hours of all-new story content.
Features to look forward to in Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom
- A new class, the Arcanist is introduced which allows players to deal destructive, defensive, and as well as restorative magic in combat by channeling arcane energies. The Arcanist deals in the forbidden knowledge of the Apocrypha, Ancient runes, and lost tomes of power
- Players will be able to explore the Telvanni Peninsula, home to the towering mushrooms as seen in Elder Scrolls Morrowind and the city of Necrom. The Daedric realm of Hermaeus Mora known as Apocrypha is also present.
- Players can recruit a Redguard Arcanist and an Argonian Warden as companions, aiding them in battle and providing companionship.
- Sanity’s Edge, a 12-player trial, sends players into the mind of a Mage recruit to rescue them from a dreadful fate.
- A world event called The Bastion Nymic within the city of Necrom takes place. Players will need to repulse invading Daedric forces and Three Challenging Bosses
- New Item Sets, Collectibles, and Achievements

In the Shadow of Morrowind Chapter, Elder Scrolls Necrom centers on Hermaeus Mora, the Daedric prince, and the world of Necrom. According to the roadmap, the developers have planned to release another DLC that will mark the conclusion of the chapter.
