Rare Interactive’s FPS from Nintendo 64, GoldenEye 007, is one of the most influential videogames of all time. Known for its split multiplayer gameplay, many consider the title a great movie tie-in videogame. Unfortunately, the game has been in limbo over the years and has never left Nintendo 64 for various reasons.
However, there have been numerous rumours of the game gearing up for a remastered release over the years, the latest being a near-perfect XBL build leaking a few months ago. Furthermore, multiple sources have pointed out the inevitable remaster release of the game, with the Xbox achievement listing leaking.

It seems the remaster plans are on hold as per known journalist and leaker Jeff Grubb (via VG247). As per Grubb, the publishers are delaying the launch because of the ongoing Ukraine-Russia conflict. The journalist mentioned this when a Twitter user inquired about the game’s status.
Goldeneye is still in limbo because of the war. 1 v 100's team lead left Microsoft. I don't know what that means for the game.
