Grand Theft Auto Five, one of the most prominent open-world games out there has come to Xbox game pass. Developed in 2013, it is an action-adventure game by Rockstar Games. This game was a sequel to GTA IV, which took place in Liberty City.
The game takes place in the fictional city of Los Santos where grand theft auto San Andreas also occurred. You can play as one of three protagonists, Michael, a retired bank robber, Trevor a gun runner, and Franklin, a street gangster. It can be played from either a third-person perspective or a first-person perspective. You can complete missions and freely explore the open city of Los Santos and its surrounding wild lands.

Xbox tweeted about this on 5 July 2023 and mentioned that it will be available from today on the cloud and the console. Sword and Fairy Together Forever will also be available on the cloud, console, and PC. Grand Theft Auto Five did go free on Epic games in the year 2020. Hence, PC players may feel disappointed as the game is not available for free on PC with an Xbox Game Pass, but only on the console and cloud.
Furthermore, the availability of the game on Xbox Game Pass opens up opportunities for more players to experience the game without the need for an additional purchase.
